I’m sure if they keep on digging there will be plenty of clubs & administrators of the game implicated. Reading another report, this has been an investigation that’s been going on for over 4 years, so I’m sure there’s plenty of dirty washing about to get aired in public.

I hope some state based agencies have been giving the police evidence or telling them where to look ;)

was watching a re-run of Chelsea v Rags. DeMatteo was managing Chelsea, i believe 2012, fergie last season. That game, chelsea lost 2-3.

I want bent referees scrapped aswell. But refs giving bad decisions (which is usually heavily debated by pundits) is simply not proof.

Let’s see. I really don’t think theEnglish game is corrupt. If there is evidence to prove otherwise, absolutely, let’s see it. Until then, as you say it’s all, to quite your own words, “suggested” and the last time I checked, suggestions rarely get the CPS off their legal seats. There was lots of talk post our 2012?league win of some irrefutable dossier that refs were told to work against us. Where is it? It isn’t available because it never existed. Like all teams we get some good and some bad decisions. Spurs champs league was z killer but not entirely without merit had it gone the other way. I’ve yet to walk away from the Etihad or an away ground thinking something plain wrong just went on. And I’ve yet to hear Mancini, Kiddo, Pelligrini or Pep say differently. That’s 4 managers in just over a decade. Not. A. Murmur. Why? Cos it ain’t there. You think there’s corruption in the game, there may well be in other countries and there’s plenty of previous in that regard, just ask Mancini. His scudetti wins will always be shadowed by what happened to Juve. But, based on my own eyes and the current total absence of anything from the UK authorities, it’s not an English problem.
