Madrid sold morata to Juventus for 20million. 2 years later after his stock had risen they triggered they're buy back for 30million, kept him for one season then sold to Chelsea for 66 million
I see, but that situation is still different to what is being asked. Had Angelino been good enough he'd still be here. The question is, would it be possible to buy Porro back and then resell him instantly, effectively acting only as a dealer? It was more the fact we had an option on Angelino with PSV for £7m and only moved because they were getting interest from PSG.
12 months later a sale of £20m certainly suggests the option clauses are worth their weight in gold.

City released him and took him back again on the recommendation of a scout who had a son in the under 18's, so it would be his 3rd time with us.I think Porro has come to everyone's attention too quickly, he'll go somewhere they need a starting RB now.
But Jeremie Frimpong is developing very nicely at Leverkusen as an attacking RB/RWB and sometime RW and would offer perfect balance in a pairing with Rico. Plus because Frimpong is absolutely rapid and could play as a direct RW on occasion, you could probably keep him, Rico and Walker all happy for a year or 18months while Walker is still good enough.
Not to mention he's club trained and a lifelong City fan.
