Could Pedro Porro be a long-term replacement for Walker?

We have known about Spurs and Madrid for a while.

Even though we are entitled to a cut, I'd be shocked if we didn't take him back if the difference was another £15m to us at some stage.

Never been really impressed by him as someone good enough for us, but business is business and Sporting got him at a discount for a reason.

Think we did a similar deal for Geronimo Rulli when he was at Sociedad?

So you think there’s a probability of us hijacking the deal?

Madrid sold morata to Juventus for 20million. 2 years later after his stock had risen they triggered they're buy back for 30million, kept him for one season then sold to Chelsea for 66 million
There you go. Kept him for one season. Didn't flip him right away.

sorry, but didn't we buy the lad for ~12m from Girona and sold him to sporting for 8m? Sporting would be mental to expect to just sell him for that much profit when we have a buyback. They got a damn good player for an unreal price for a few seasons, and they get to still turn a profit when we activate the buyback. What was the point of the transfer then if not that?

As long as we held his registration, then yes.

Bolton did that with us re that prick Didi Hamman.

They bought him on the Tuesday for £200k and sold him on the Thursday to us for £400k!
Did they buy him on a buy back clause? Or did they just buy him and the resell him. That's different to what's being discussed.

Buy Pedro Porro have him as rotation with Lewis, buy Ivan Fresnenda and loan him out to Sporting with Option to buy and with a buy back clause.

It would be a similar situation to when we fetched Angelino back and I am not sure Porro has enough quality to nail down a place either.
He's ranked among the top 10 for RBs across Europe by multiple rating sources...Bringing him back at 15 mil is a no brainer...
