Could Pedro Porro be a long-term replacement for Walker?

I'm not sure, I certainly would.

Although perhaps it would set a dangerous precedent each time we asked for clauses and think we have some sort of relationship with Sporting?
Surely if we think he is good enough we buy him back for a decent fee
If not we take our cut as per the contract
It would be dodgy to try and buy him to sell him
It really. Goes against what we say we stand for

This is part of the "happy flowers" club mentality. Don't want to piss off any club (who in the meantime use every opportunity to stick it to us) so we let ourselves get shafted.

Or the lad doesn't want to sign for us and fight with three other players to get any game time.

Better than any of our fullbacks getting forward. Likes to get stuck in, good recovery pace.

But though I think Lewis could play inverted left-back, if Pep doesn't think so then Porro would be a pointless signing.

Not overly different to Angelino resigning?

So we don’t sign a player even though we could make 15/20m?
