They sure did. I guess they added to the general air of doom and gloom that hung over us in those days. Perhaps they will make a comeback now in this national.crisis, shuffling outside pubs and shopping centres.

it was better than I thought it would be and having a daily briefing with cross examination from the journos on details is a good thing

I agree about the briefings and cross examination, communication is key now.

Demographic of Italy is totally different to UK as is their way of living

demographic and way of living of Northern Italy is not that different to UK. Turin/Milan is quite heavily industrial. Rest is mixture of towns and villages. It’s not all 80 year olds living in mountain villages

I swear some people literally don’t even listen or process what’s being said. I think it was fairly obvious the message they were getting across.

It is putting a lot of expectancy on our great public mind...

The message was clear enough bar what a conditions are in the serious health issue list. (The flu jab list on NHS website covers many people)

The rest was obvious and easy to uderstand, though people will ignore the pub advice unless forced
