I also know someone who caught the covid 19 whilst in hospital, just before they were due to be discharged. The doctors have asked to put her on end of life care, they will not put her on a ventilator.

I don't think the deaths could double in 24 hours at these numbers. UK numbers are all over the shop and I don't think it's for only 24 hours, just as those dips that were happening at times weren't the real numbers too. You cant go to half, than to double in 2 days, the rise is fairly regular everywhere.

Yeah, agreed. The reported number of cases in the UK has now become completely meaningless, of zero value.

The reality is we have many, many more infections than that number, but since we have no idea whether it's 5x, 10x, 50x or 100x more, the number is meaningless. What I will say is that the US - which has been ramping up testing big time - now has about 7x the number of *known* infections compared to us and yet a similar death rate. Are we 7x worse at treating our patients? I would imagine not.
 
Looking at number of critical and severe cases, I guess Spain will overtake Italy by number of deaths on the end.
 
I’d guess we are just being lazy and expecting to procure testing kits from abroad, no doubt part of Boris’ chat with Trump.

Just clicked on that and further down it states/a clip supposedly
Chinese medics have just arrived in London to help us fight Covid-19. The media won’t tell you for some reason.

Getting to the point where a lack of resources, staff etc... is almost inadvertently forcing us down the herd immunity route, as the testing route becomes less effective.
