Truth is no countries death stats are fully reliable, nor fully comparable because every country counts differently and add different sources at different times. Even the devolved parts of the UK count and add differently. So Scotland , N.Ireland , Wales will add differently to England.True, my mistake.

Depends whether it’s raw data being used to make a headline. Or analysed data being used to make decisions on how to proceed. The judgements on who did what right and who did what wrong is for when we have better complete data.I don't think anyone would argue they're fully comparable. But I'd hope no-one would argue that they're not comparable whatsoever. They're pretty good at showing general trends and hopefully will provide good information to decision-makers on which countries are getting it right and which countries are getting it wrong.
