I'm the same as you with the maybe had, maybe haven't category. I went Madrid and Wembley like yourself but the night of the Sheff Weds cup game, started to feel a bit of a cold coming on. Woke up the next day whole body was aching with a bit of a dodgy throat which got worse throughout the day till I got sent home from work, with a very very high temperature yet shivering. The thing I don't get is the bad symptoms only lasted maybe a day or so but I had a really chesty cough for a week and I couldn't run with it at all and no one in my house ended up with anything either.

I watched the Madrid game in a bar Portugal did Wembley . The day after sheff wed had the same sore throat & terrible cough that lasted a week was really rough .

No it wouldn't. Food shopping is clearly allowing it to spread as people are getting a lot closer that 2 metres for quite a long time period. Longer than 6 seconds for sure. Exercise is resulting in bugger all transmission.
Only face masks would have reduced the spread.

Sorry but yes it would. If we had a 100% lockdown - shut everyone in and stopped all contacts - then after 4 or 5 weeks everyone would either be recovered or dead and we'd have no new cases and no daily deaths. I did say this was not practicable however, but it is a true statement.

Viral load is a big factor for staff treating patients,they are exposed to massive viral loads

I agree, sadly we have had some kind of partial lockdown. Cracking down on people taking their dogs for walks in the peak district while letting 10,000s fly into the country unchecked everyday. Bizarre!!

There would certainly be a huge number of deaths and a lot of dirty backsides.
