People are scared,most want to do the right thing and we have been told to stay at home for two months,stay away from relatives as you might kill them ,can't blame people wanting clarity,he told people last night to go to work so off They go this morning and now he says wait and make sure it is safe first,he is just chaotic and didn't explain simple things properly

Not really. The chances of strangers sitting less than 2 metres in the park with you for the 15 minutes or so you need to be near someone to catch it is pretty much nil. They are clearly trying to help people who live alone and are probably going insane at the lack of any kind of human interaction and could up with mental health issues because of it. Be glad you're being allowed to see one and stick to the rules, if we do that the expert scientists think it will stay away.

And if you look at the shape of the curve the area under it was very small until we hit that steeply rising phase around the beginning of April. In other words the significant numbers only started getting the virus from the beginning of April. The active case base of 136k plus or minus a confidence interval means that around 2 people in every 1000 have the virus. And of course when you are out and about it will be a lot less than that as half of these people will be at home ill.

I like Chris Whitty. Very precise with his answers and very clear. Boris was all over the place. I think he might have been rattled a bit by the criticism.
