Spain preparing a draft decree effective after the Alarm special measures finish on 21st June to make facemasks compulsory in public places.
Fine of 100 euros for non compliance.

I get why they are doing it, but my god what a bunch of selfish fucking idiots. It's not just their life they are putting at risk, but those if their families as well. Unfuckingbelievable!!!

Ian Cheeseman of all people is getting a bit of a slating over an earlier Tweet regarding the scenes in Piccadilly Gardens today. While I don’t think the angle he ran with was exactly the best, he’s one of the least offensive people I’ve ever met and I’m sure his point was solely about the importance of social distancing.

I think the vast majority of people support this cause, but it seems to me that some of the protest here are more of a protest against not being able to get together.

I live in a modest sized town in the home counties, and we've had march here today, hundreds perhaps a thousand took part, with the police having to bring in extra people to cover it, and people are walking around with placards saying "stop police brutality", whilst the police are looking after their welfare, in a town where I've never heard of any police brutality against anyone, black or white.

The irony of that is completely lost, and I've seen pictures of the march here, and social distancing was certainly NOT taking place.

The trouble in london at whitehall was purely politically motivated, and a sad indictment of a certain section of our society, and sadly no great surprise.

It’s ridiculously ironic that the slogan is “black lives matter”, the amount of virus carried back to the homes of the higher risk groups is beyond belief, if they matter then wait to protest and save black lives.

I dint see Ian’s tweet that has offended some but I’ve posted in support of Cheesey because I known he is a good, well meaning guy.

I don’t agree with everything Ian has said in recent times including trying to put City in the frame as a driving force behind football restarting behind closed doors, when we have sweet FA influence over the Prem. However, I can’t believe his comments about the protests are anything other than reasonable.
