Hope you didn't watch the BBC news at ten showing us top of the death leagues and the report on how well Scotland are doing.
Oh and Panorama on the testing and tracing disaster.
Some balance, optimism and fun was provided by Bojo on a PR schools building gig looking like a presenter on a kids tv programme in a hard hat with his blonde hair wings popping out at the sides.
Not after fun Len. I agree entirely there is more than enough bad news at present. But when there is a little bit of good news I would like it reported as such and don't expect the BBC to paint it in a negative light. I am sure you agree with those sentiments deep down.

ps I am chuffed to bits with the news from Scotland.

It's getting tiring having to repeat the same old message; if you wish to make political capital out of this, please post in the relevant thread in the politics sub forum.

Health establishment ask the wrong question (again):

Of course it doesnt prevent you getting it. It's unlikely to help you fight it if you start taking extra it D when you catch it either.
Does it boost your imune system if you take extra before you catch it so you can fight it. YES!
At least they are still recommending taking a supplement while not ill, but really these people need a flipping good shake.

Hancock conforming Leicester to close schools and shops. Anyone with symptoms has to come forward apparently, should they not be getting a shit load of testing kits in and going house to house? The way the lock down was enforced nationally can we see the population of Leicester taking it seriously?
It's good that they've shut shops in Leicester, but you can still drive to Nottingham, Rugby, or Coventry, and nobody is going to bat an eyelid.

It's hardly "lockdown".

Leicester footballers can still travel to play Everton on Wednesday, ironically.
