I've read the guidelines a few times and I still don't fully understand it.
Can I go to my local pub and meet my friends tonight? I will be going on my own and meeting them.
No. Only people from the same household or support bubble (so a person living in their own can
have a bubble with one other household) can meet in pubs and restaurants.

But all this is SO much easier to follow if you just stick to staying at home as much as you can anyway, they’re the guidelines that are still in place even before this new Greater Manchester enforcement.

The whole country should be following this:
Stay alert
We can all help control the virus if we all stay alert. This means you must:

  • stay at home as much as possible
  • work from home if you can
  • limit contact with other people
  • keep your distance from people not in your household (2 metres apart where possible)
  • wash your hands regularly
Do not leave home if you or anyone in your household has symptoms.

And because people haven’t been staying at home as much as possible, visiting multiple homes or multiple homes have been meeting together in one home... we now have stricter restrictions in our area.

To the whole nation; STAY AT HOME AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!

It’s very very simple!

If you’re thinking about doing anything at all, first, think; will this increase the risk of spreading the virus?.. if the answer is yes, then don’t bother and just stay at home!

Seems we have mobile human Porton Down specimens in Gtr Manchester. Rochdale figure appears to be down but a tightening of lockdown across the abomination that is called Gtr Manchester exposes a simple fact - people haven't been sticking to the guidelines. Meeting in homes and then exporting the virus onto the streets. Fancy that!

These restrictions seem to be more about socialising , what if your job entails going into people's houses like mobile hairdressers or nail technicians or decorators ?? Can they not work now ?

I think the problem has always been that too many HAVEN't read the guidelines, wouldn't understand them if they had, and do their own fuckin' thing anyway.

There is also a problem with the guidelines - some elements of them are just too vague!

Thanks
All part of the new world agenda controlling people.
Too right we should be controlled until a vaccine comes along. You see what happens with the slightest relaxation of rules... too many people just think “fuck it, it’s gone now, it won’t affect me anyway”

These dullards need controlling!

Totally understand what your saying but it was never going to happen once pubs, restaurants, gyms were opened and non-essential shops. I don’t get why people rushed to get to Spain or even Cornwall while there is still a pandemic. I’ve noticed in supermarkets social distancing is gone now masks are in place. Our Lidl is back to being a free for all. No control of numbers in store etc.
