Scottish data - another record high of cases sadly.

Happily 0 deaths but 714 new cases at yet another record 11.4% of tests.

Also an extra 10 in hospital in one day and up to 99 - thats up from 40 when the new system was introduced 10 days ago.

England data is up but not catastrophocally today.

20 deaths with 5 from the NW (all of those in past 72 hours).

Last week it was 16 with 6 from the NW.

25 Sep adds 1 = 1 after one day

24 Sep adds 9 = 12 after two days.

23 Sep adds 6 = 34 after three days. Highest 3 day total in over 3 months.

22 Sep adds 1 = 24 after four days. Highest since 9 July.

One death dates back to April.

Here is my weekly total of England hospital deaths when you add up the 5 day totals.

Sep 1 - 7 weekly total 42 (avg deaths per day 6)

Sep 8 - 14 weekly total 57 (avg deaths per day over 8)

Sep 15 - 21 weekly total 107 (avg deaths per day over 15).

If you look at the days after 21 Sep it is not getting better. 22 Sep is at 24 with a day to go and 23 Sep at 34 with two days to go. Indeed the total already with 7 days more data to be added from all the days up to now and the next two days yet to start their 5 day run there are 71 at the moment - so looks all but certain the number will be well over 107 next week.

Northern Ireland data:

Sadly 1 new death (it was 0 last week).

319 cases - a new N Ireland record (it was 222 last week)

At 6.0% (highest here yet) (it was 2.5% last week).

46 patients in hospital v 21 last week

5 in icu ventilator beds v 4 last week

So the UK cases without England today are another new record of 1403. Up 252 on yesterday.

Last week the number was 788. With England added that became 4422.

And the UK hospital deaths today are 24 - last week it was 21. So the lowest week to week rise here this week I think. Perhaps a glimmer of hope there.

The all settings number last week rose from 21 to 27.
