Works anywhere if the will to ensure it and the realisation of not doing it right, leads to an even worse situation. If only there was a historical incident we could learn from, say a flu pandemic that killed 60m, or something like that, and had moronic people saying it was too much trouble, that the economy wold suffer too much and that it only killed the weak and old. I guess we will never know how we might have reacted if something like that had already happened.

Tiers are !ocal , lockdown is national , they have said it needed to be national and nearly four weeks ago when the ones who speak publicly speak about it ,Van -Tam aside

I agree mate. I don’t see how the difference between Tiers 2 and 3 does more than maybe offset the damage caused by introducing the 10pm pub curfew.

As i said , i put the first one or two paragraphs , i dont set it up to be anything , as always you have to read the whole thing , i dont paint anything and i am getting very pissed off with that accusation, what they tell the select commitees is alway unvarnished

Not meant as an accusation Kaz, just the way it came across from the intro, which of course we are all used to thanks to the MSM ways and means......

As a matter of fact I think its a very good article that all should see and digest perhaps. I really do think we are close to better times but it is not yet time to drop your guard in fact just the opposite in the relatively short term.

26k new cases is nothing in comparison to what is was in March / April. However because of low testing we never knew the true numbers but these numbers should set alarm bells ringing everywhere. Minimum four week national lockdown is required with rules similar to what we had in March / April and that means no sport at any level. People flying into the country should face a mandatory two week quarantine and army needs to be involved to keep some sort of control. Vaccine can't come soon enough but it will be next year I reckon which will help ease the burden.
