The regional scoreboard reflects the bad news from the cases but all over the UK making the lockdown by region seem to be looking a short lived thing.

London - Huge rise here from 1500 to 2842 By some distance its worst - a near doubling in a day. 9 days ago it was 801! So Tier 3 for London today Boris - surely?

How long are we going to let these numbers rise before they do the inevitable - England circuit breaker - No idea. But It will be too long sadly. And cost the economy more than they will save by waiting.

I could've solved the whole fucking thing from the off. No one was interested. Shoot a few people who don't comply, the word will get out. Had a gun loaded and everything. Cunts, my self esteem fair dipped.
I don’t know what it’s been like in Glasgow mate, but here in Manchester there has been so much ignoring of the rules for a good five/six months that shooting people would be more than welcomed by me!

The government hasn't just plucked industries to ban out of thin air. They'll have a reason for choosing the restrictions they have, whether they show anyone the proof or not.

So we can either rely on their information and act on it or just have a free for all.
Yes it’s easy to close a pub

How we have reacted is like having an exposed live wire in your house with a toddler cutting about and just saying, its common sense will stop it touching it. Or, we are on a sinking ship and we are all discussing the merits of shag pile or hardwood flooring in the main ballroom. I would go for hardwood, as I watched a programme about germs on the carpets in our homes and thought, fuck that. Still got the carpet though and the germs. Bt at least know if I go down with some horrific disease it will be my fault, and the germs. Every Cloud.

Yeah, it's scary what effect this could have on a whole generation of kids.

My ten year old daughter, who was/is the most fun loving, happy go lucky little girl you could ever meet, has suddenly started suffering really severe panic attacks over the last few months. Horrible to see as a parent, but almost certainly a result of the pandemic. To make things worse, we've not really been able to get much support or help for her as yet.

Sorry to hear this mate. My daughter is nine and has been starting to show some OCD, stuff like the light being on and doors being open.

We figure it's her way of feeling safe and in control. We were recommended some great books that can explain things to kids in ways they can understand. I'll try and get the titles for you.

During lockdown, by little girl felt like she was going to be sick at bedtime and would do anything not to go to sleep for weeks on end, just through anxiety.

I thought she was just trying it on but then I started to understand how confusing it must be to try and rationalise what is going on.

She's good as gold now, got her involved in girls football and is now being scouted by both City and United, done wonders for her wellbeing.
