Test numbers cant be compared daily like this , too many variables

When they say its much more transmissible, what does this mean? Does it stay live on surfaces for longer? Does it travel through the air for a further distance?

Not only that - when we tell them that they’re talking bollocks, many of them call us sheep and assume we think the sun shines out of the government’s arse because we dare to believe that Covid is real. Errrrr no - it’s entirely possible to be critical of the government’s handling of the pandemic while also acknowledging the existence of the virus you stupid twats.
You could have just said this last bit mate :-)

We’ve had six staff positives and 8 pupils, aged between 4 and 11. It’s been a logistical fucking nightmare classes toing and froing in and out of isolation. We’ve worked tirelessly to mitigate but it’s like trying to push back the tide. A Sisyphean task. I was all for keeping our school and others open but I wonder now if we should go into full blown ultra hard lockdown, and get as many vaccinated as we can over the next 6 to 8!weeks whilst closing everything except absolute essentials. Schools to go online. At the moment it feels like we’re drifting between the laissez faire let’s keep business open as much as possible whilst still talking of mass testng / vaccination. The scenes at Euston Friday were symptomatic of that. It’s half-arsed and it’s not working IMHO
We must have been very lucky then. Six staff in one primary school is unlucky. Did they get it from each other, pupils or just randomly when out of school settings?

I agree that these half hearted measures are not working.

“work from home if you can” - is very much open to interpretation and judging by the M6 most nights over the last few months, is largely being ignored by a lot of people/companies, mine included who whilst not saying you can’t work from home, have definitely treated those who have differently.

Fucking hell:
