There has.
30% of cases are spread in schools and further education establishments.
The previous Covid strain was not spread easily by children < 13 to adults particularly well. This one is more easily spread.
High schools and Universities cannot open till bi-weekly testing is in place or new virus cases will rocket
Thanks. I’d be especially interested in seeing the number of teachers and families of teachers affected by the new strain, particularly in regards primary schools. The fact that the authorities are keeping primary schools closed in areas where rates are high (cannot find Williamson’s definition of high) suggests a link, and given rates are only going to rise in other areas, the number of primary schools closing will likely climb, too.

CHESHIRE EAST for andyhinch

He actually cited cases from the trials where the only 2 people that were hospitalised, one tested positive 2 days after getting the vaccine, the other 7 days later, and said that it takes up to 14 days after the jab before immunity is properly gained.
Thanks.

500,000 ready to go in the UK.
A further 4,000,000 when they take delivery of the glass phials to put 6 doses of vaccine in.

Investigating and dispelling Internet bollox since 1992

This isn't quite correct I think.

The vials have been filled.

The emergency authorisation mandates independent testing by a govt lab

The National Institute for Biological Standards and Control, part of the MHRA, has been and will continue doing, independent laboratory testing to ensure that every batch of the vaccine meets the expected standards of safety and quality

That's the discrepancy between the 4 million and 530,000 quoted. The 530,000 have passed the independent test so can be released for use.

Incidentally, filling into vials is not a trivial task, though it sounds it. There are very stringent cleanliness standards, the process has to be validated, as do analytical methods etc. Container closure integrity has to be demonstrated. Sterile fill processes are amongst likely to fail quality standards.
