I’m in Tenerife lovely and sunny arrived yesterday took 20 minutes to get through passport and covid control and to collect my bags it was 25 today
Any idea when they're voting on it? I go to Tenerife on Monday for 6 days. I see that they're currently at Alert level 1 which is the lowestI'm monitoring the situation there closely as I'm due to fly to Tenerife a week tomorrow. They're trying to enforce covid passes for hospitality venues to keep things as they are. If the bill fails they're talking about reducing capacity and earlier closing
Ive been told Collinson do 3 hour turnaround tests but obviously they cost more and I'd imagine most people are now booking thesei have this exact situation, folk flying in Friday for 3 days. Thing is, they how can they land friday and be at the do on Saturday? is any airport PCR test quick enough? If they test positive they're a bit knackered....
Ok, cheers. I'll be off the island by the 15th anyway - or rather should be! - so it shouldn't really affect me. And even if it did, as you say if places are still open then it wouldn't be much of a hardshipNot sure mate, a link below which is where I saw it. Spain/Tenerife have a habit of shooting themselves in the foot. Holidays are being cancelled due to the double vaccination rule for over 12's the tourism industry there isn't happy. Me so long as places stay open if it's a bit quieter it's good.
The Canary Islands awaits the judicial endorsement of the Covid certificate
If not endorsed, plan B is reduced capacity and opening hours from December 15th…www.canarianweekly.com
A friend recommended collinson to me..he was happy with the service..Ive been told Collinson do 3 hour turnaround tests but obviously they cost more and I'd imagine most people are now booking these
