didnt see that coming, but they do have a problem there with boats coming in from the African coast which many have been positive, Tenerife well up on infections over fuerteventura so may be advised to keep an eye on this if your going out there soon enough, Spain level 3 is quite strict so wouldnt want to holiday in those circumstances
There's very little tangible difference between levels 2 and 3 in the Canaries, particularly for the average holidaymaker just going for a week or 2 of sunshine and nothing much more strenuous than that.

I was in Fuerteventura last week and didn't hear/see anything of this alleged 'boat problem', it also seems a bit too simplistic to put 2 and 2 together in relation to their Covid cases.
Level 4 is when the restrictions really start to kick in; I think Tenerife was Level 4 for large parts of summer and the jump from 3 to 4 is much worse than 2 to 3, in terms of levels.
