Not seen much mention of the delights of:

Gainsborough
Boston
Lincoln

They don't have 6 fingers, generally 7. They also have fully developed flippers if I recall correctly.

Also total and utter dives.

Hull and Hereford get honourable mentions at the end of the list

I take it Lincolnshire is on your avoid at all costs list? I live in Grimsby, so I can vouch that most towns and cities within 50 miles are shite holes. Hull or Scunny being the worst.

And there are a good few civil servants still laughing off their bollocks from when they dumped Middleton onto Rochdale. I was in WHS the other day and a book caught my eye - ROCHDALE -THE GOLDEN YEARS. It stopped when we ended up with Middleton 'n Heywood.

Grates me when people link Heywood with Rochdale.. the Dale accent alone send shivers .

Warminster in Wiltshire. A small, grim, former market town full of squaddies and young locals who try to fight them and generally lose. It has lots of pubs all of which are crap. It's a hotspot for UFO's who probably come to gaze at proceedings on a Saturday night.
