If as suggested it's a side strain looks like he's done for this series and there is no point flogging him in Sri Lanka. EDIT He was 577 before this test so now has 584, so 16 away. I reckon he'll retire the day he gets to 600 (assuming he does).
Port Elizabeth is flat, they were saying, so might be worth resting him there and bring Archer in. Don't know about the last test but they seem to be managing him well (I think it helps that he knows what he can/can't do and is probably honest with the coaching staff). Pretty sure that would be the plan whether he is injured or not as Stokes showed at the end you need raw pace to negate an old ball and a dead pitch. Wood is also nearing a return so we have options. Especially not in the 2nd game of a 4 match series, you risk the draw with other chances to come. If this had been the final test I reckon the declaration could have been 10 overs sooner.
do it mate. It is tremendous. The fun, the atmosphere both in the grounds and at night is fantastic. Me and my mates went to Bridgetown and had a ball and we are going to galle in Sri Lanka in March. Cannot wait.
Can't stand Nick Knight personally. Also I think Kevin Pietersen is an extremely poor ommentator. His voice really gets on my nervesWatching the highlights now. Can't explain what it is, but I just can't warm to Mark Nicholas. Don't mind Ian Ward, but Nicholas? Not for me.

Thanks mate we are doing it the opposite way to you staying in the forte for the cricket so easy and the days off a tuck tuck to unawatuna for beach partying . Can’t waitI did Galle back in 2003 it is an amazing place. We stayed a little bit down the coast in a place called Unawatuna. Highlight of each day was the tuk tuk races back to the hotel at close of play! If you get chance try and watch a bit of play from the fort overlooking the ground and spend a bit of time looking round the City in the walls.
