Cricket/South Africa test series

We will have to bowl out of skin and every chance took or I can see South Africa getting at least 450 on that pitch.

Agreed - and no Archer in this match either.
Fearing the worst the attack looks one-dimensional without him especially when there's no sideways movement. Don't know much about Bess but from what I gather he is ahead of Parkinson on ability with bat rather than ball in hand. Unless Stokes can rip out a few with an old ball I see them batting us out of the game over the next 2 days.

I can’t believe how bad Broad has gotten at batting. 12 50s and 1 100 to his name in Test cricket, yet his dismissal today looked like u11s stuff and that’s not a one off.
He has become frightened of the ball when facing a fast bowler after he had a bad injury.Lost his confidence and it has never returned

then why pick him or even send him him to bat ???

this wicket is not a 450 runs wicket, it has that big big thing going for it (doubt) the batters don't know the true bounce or the line and its up and down and they are the worst to play on, archer is a big loss on this wicket and i don't think jimmy can bowl 15 to 20 overs at his best anymore and its now more hit and miss, but broad if he gets on one of them runs going when he makes bowling easy then this wicket could be his best chance

And yet Kallis said before play started yesterday that the pitch was a featherbed, and the Proteas captain said theyd' have chosen to bat as well, had he won the toss. Weird that they all seem to have read it wrong.

He was hit on the head a few years ago and has never recovered from that. He has lost all confidence in his batting.

There was a stat shown yesterday that before he got hit in the head his batting average was 32 after the hit on the head it's 12

Seems umpires are not bothering calling no balls so seems the want the bowlers to eventually get there own line right if they keep getting wickets with no balls!
