Once again Pakistan proved to be great visitors and test cricket was really good despite having a very young team. Over the last 10 years pakistan has had a highest success ratio for a visiting side and test cricket is hardly dull when these two sides play.

Its a shame its only 3 test matches, last time they were 2. I feel eng and pak should play 4 match series every 2 to 3 years. Give fans more test cricket to save it. T20 should just be left for tournaments or leagues. Test should be given more space

I think Pakistan have got some great young cricketers in the squad.
Give them another 12 months.

To be honest, they'd have won the series had they batted properly on Day 3 at OT.
I honestly believe they thought they had enough when they were 200 and odd ahead with 6 wickets left, but that last session, when they went from 100-4 to about 140-8, cost them. I was really surprised because there was so much time left in the game so they didn't need to force it. That more for me was pivotal, because it meant we only needed 20 odd against the 2nd new ball.
Genuinely great tourists and the way they all went to Crawley, after he was out the other day, was a lesson to a few international sides!
Like you said some top, top youngsters and in Babar Azam they have a truly world-class batsmen.
We need to reciprocate and tour there asap. They trusted our authorities now we need to trust there's.

Yes indeed, i think our management asked too much of this young pace attack but nevertheless it will be a great learning curve for all the youngsters.

I don't remember an instance where 2 keepers won man of the series. Rizwan's glove work was some of the best I have seen in a long time and good to see Buttler doing well too, but he needs to work on his keeping a bit more. Srilanka and indian series would be very demanding as a keeper.

Yes, it hurts a bit when one looks back at first test but it is what it is. Hopefully they, ll learn from it.

As per reciprocating, England shouldnt do it for the sake of it, just analysing the evidence on record should be enough imo because pakistan has really turned a corner in last 3 to 4 years in terms of security situation. International Tourism is consistently on the rise and country is moving forward in the right direction. (Check out some v logs on pakistan by international v loggers, you will be surprised what the country has to offer. )

Srilanka, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Windies have already played in Pakistan. Top South African and several English players have played in our T 20 League (PSL).

Mcc sent their team under sanagakara last year to play a few matches. Hales, Ali, Roy, Jordan, Malann, and plunket amongst other English cricketers played the last edition of PSL which was completely played in Pakistan, so i see no reason why England shouldn't visit. I would love to see Ben Stokes playing our league one day.

Last time when England visited Pakistan in 2006, i attended a one day game in Rawalpindi. I remember broad standing on the square leg boundary and the whole stand was chanting his name to his great surprise. He had his classic perplexed look and was taken by surprise. England were the winners as we couldn't chase down a target

the thing pakistan need is to play test cricket at home ? most of the team have never played a test match in pakistan
they need to be back playing in conditions that teaches them the pakistan way ? fast swing bowlers/ spinners/ and great batsman. on flat hard pitches in hot weather and 100.000 fans going mental its like nothing else ? that is what needed right now build up the test cricket in pakistan and it will make the players better

the first test in this series pakistan looked outstanding and played really well, but was that down to england or pakistan
because the other 2 test was nothing like the first test and england bossed the games and was the better team

yes the weather had a big impact on all 3 test and the covid-19 bubbles and no fans means its not really test cricket as we know it, in fact should not be played under the ranking system at ICC and just played as a friendly series

With no cricket at home for nearly 10 years, it greatly effected the quality of players coming through the system. However things are moving forwards now. Sri Lanka played a 2 test series before covid and Bangladesh also came in for a test and 3 t20s. Having a big team like England or Australia tour would go a long way in bringing cricket back home on regular basis.

that is the way forward for pakistan cricket board, the need for test cricket at home is now more needed that ever before, because ten years of just playing overseas cricket has made the bowlers and batsman lose their DNA

the art of reverse swing bowlers and leg spinners are gone because of the 10 year ban and that's bad not just for pakistan but cricket all over the world, then you had batsman that could play all the shots all day on flat wickets, front foot, back foot, cut shots, hooks, every thing and score big runs in hot weather

but the thing missing most of all is the crazy fans ? 100.000 wanting to watch all day standing up screaming and shouting the noise was like no other, you won before you bowled a over ? england never stood a chance ? them fans wanting blood from the pakistan players, it was hell on earth for anybody ? the visitors would buckle under the pressure and the umpires also, they knew a bad call and your not getting out of the ground hahahah

i miss watching england play pakistan in pakistan on TV, you knew it would be wall to wall noise and in many cases over very quick for england hahahah

Think they need to restart next season in mid-March - every year thats when the good weather starts. Trying to play cricket in August and September here in recent years following climate change is a bloody joke.
