Crawley will likely be the only casualty, but there should be more praise of the South African bowling attack than criticism of England’s failings.

All 4 key One Day games in the balance, Lanky 85/0 from 62 balls chasing 371. Looks like they could do it.

Yorks, Hants and Essex post good totals but beatable, and could do with them all losing. If Lanky win and Yorks or Essex lose then a top 3 QF place is secured as minimum.

Doesn’t feel that long since Tuffers was advising TMS listeners with tickets for tomorrow to set off early because of the strikes. Hope nobody’s already left…

Not sure test cricket is dead but Englands test batting certainly is!

not had a decent top order since Strauss and cook were playin so over 5 years at least now.
cruel to pick Crawley again, I get they are loyal but he’s all over the place.
Not too sue who we turn to for opener? Also we need some pace into the attack, think wood is fit again? How far off are archer and stone?

As with City and football, I barely give a shite about England, far more concerned with Lancs.
Run-fest at Blackpool today, fair to say it’s a dead strip. Northants racked up 370/4, Lancs 127/0 in reply in the 15th!
