Brook got a beauty, Root was done by a bit of reverse swing, Pope missed a straight one, Lawrence nicked off playing at a wider one and Duckett got trapped in front.

They’ve done worse. Pope’s balance was poor. Duckett couldn’t get his bat in front of his pad in time. Both of which can be worked on.Those don't sound like downright brainless shots, though?
