Think it’s great he is back but I’ll be surprised he gets as many wickets as Leach would of got, his batting is the bonus though and it’s like having another all rounder in the side..

True but he will be coming in well down the pecking order and am sure he will score than leach would of! Think it will even out losing leach who would of got more wickets but not many runs where Ali will get more runs but not many wickets..

why not play the leggy Reham Ahmed took 5 wickets in his last test
Siraj is causing them a lot of problems.
They (Aussies) will never change their style of batting and if they get pasted the new bowl in the morning with only a couple down then one of their lefthanders will score quick runs and bed in,
they know the Ashes could close this summer and I think it will be all about them trying to get 450 on the board in the first innings, their mentality is if they do get 450 they will not lose because they back the bowling team

He only played the one test as well so am baffled he ain’t getting first dabs when leach went down! They must of seen something in him that he needs more time! If it was New Zealand they would of stuck by him and played him while he learns!
