Both England and Australia penalised for slow over rates.

England lost 19 of the 28 test championship points they won, and lost chunks of match fees too (capped at 50% I think).
Australia lost 10 points and 50% fee for Old Trafford test.

While it's good to see over rates being punished, I expected Australia to have lost more than that. Looking into it, bowling the opposition out inside 80 overs negates losses (not sure if just for that innings), as does bowling out a side twice inside 160 overs.

The washout at Old Trafford ended up meaning Australia were judged on one innings there, and were found to be 10 overs short.

Fucks sake, the Aussie women have finished, the Aussie men gave finished, why the fuck is Mel fucking Jones still here?

Don’t know if it’s because we’re 3 years in now, or because the ashes has made me really want cricket to grow and be back on free to air tv, but I’m starting to get behind the hundred a bit now.

Looks fine tomorrow for Lanky at Scarborough. Final at Trent Bridge clashes with West Ham away.
