Said earlier 200/6 would be good so if we get to that then yes. We can play with some more freedom if we do that and hopefully get to 250. That’d be very hard to get. My only worry is Bashir. No where near good enough. A half decent spinner would have been invaluable on the last day. I don’t think Bashir is even that level. Hope he proves me wrong
Not bowling because his non bowling hand was hurting is a bit nesh

I'd be looking for nearer to 300, which is both a long way to go, and would likely still not be enough. But it'd give the bowlers something to try to defend.

India will battle better than England here and to win this we have to take 2/3 wickets in 3/6 over spell! Which has been our problem!

Broad thinks we get 250 to be favourites is take that now but for me 280/300 to be favourites to have a chance in the game say around 240

Playing for the spin when it beamed in for his centre wicket! You got your four defend the next! Indian bowlers play to a plan this Washington players been brilliant!

guarantee India will make the score we end up with look like a piece of piss

156 for Lanky to win, 7.8 an over.

Lanky on top first 6, then Durham got above 10 an over next 6, then tied them back down with regular wickets.

Anyone think our bowlers can be as consistently as India are dreaming India will get these with 6 wickets to spare!

If we blow the best we can keep it tight it does everything all the time we have a chance! Seen enough of these bowlers to know they haven’t got that skill! Stokes can that’s that

"right, lads, you need to bat all day to have a chance. So tell me, how have 5 of you missed straight balls?"
I dunno; something radical like, well, "they're technically not all that good"? In Bazball mode, they're brilliant. But, as you say, top notch batsmen shouldn't be missing straight ball, no matter how good the bowler, and Bumrah is very good If the bowlers are sending down deliveries akin to THAT Warne delivery, fair enough. Not a lot you can do then. But pretty straight, albeit quick, deliveries? Hmm.

Quite, it was more pointing out the flaw in technique for some of them.

Woakes got a brute, but being bowled behind legs sweeping is not a good look.

Slower pitches seem to be kryptonite to England's power game.

Still Archer will get a go this evening, and we'll see how India go. The trouble is that if they know they need 200, they won't mind blocking for 15 overs.

200?

I can’t see this pair scoring 14.
