Thinking about epic collapses does anyone else remember the 1993 B&H Cup game between Surrey and Lancashire?

It was shown live on BBC1 and Lancashire crawled to 236. Surrey then got to 212-1 needing 25 to win off the last 6 overs they then proceeded to lose 9 wickets for 18 runs to be all out for 230 and Lancashire winning by 6 runs

I miss the days when batting was hard. Anything over a run a ball in the last 5 overs and you were up against it.

I took my mum out for tea that night. When I went out Lanky were down and out. No mobile phone with internet, watched the highlights on tv later and was staggered that we had won.
What's amazing about that game is the shear quality of the players on both sides. County cricket isn't anything like that now with central contracts. Almost like two international sides.

how many grounds are they using? It seems a bit early in the tournament for balls to keep low - one English batsman got one against Bangladesh and Warner got one.
