Am not negative, I just like to say what I feel is right and fair and England has been well below par in this World Cup, if England wins the next 6 games or gets to the semi-finals then good luck to them

Stokes return might help a bit with the balance, but who do you drop?

Livingstone is the obvious choice, but his bowling is useful. Bairstow or Woakes?

I think there’s a case to drop all the batsmen except Malan. Also Woakes or Curran. I can’t see us beating Pakistan, Australia India or South Africa. Most of the others seem to have clear game plans, other than just slog it. Sad really, but much worse things happening in the world

I’d keep Root, Malan and Brooks. Buttler as captain probably won’t drop himself either.

That leaves Bairstow, Livingstone or a bowler.

Our bowling is so poor that maybe we need to slog away and hope to get enough to defend.
