Smith always thinks he’s not out. He reacts badly when DRS shows him being out. Maybe he’s been told to rein in his emotions about it and it’s fucked his judgement on when to review.

I remember Shane Watson saying he could never understand the DRS and basically just gave up trying after a few years.

It’s exactly what he said. India were batting first whoever won the toss so stop bleating g about it. The Aussies have (unfortunately) just battered them

Some people just can’t admit they’re out.

It can’t be 100% in predicting the future, but it’s pretty close and there’s umpire‘s call factored in.
