Wasn't helped that after every ball he would walk half way to square leg , he has 2 if the 13th slowest test match 50s , whilst being known as being defensive , he was acrualy quite attacking in one day formatsDidn't know about him. Have to admit I had to google him. Did he really have the reputation as the slowest scorer ever? Takes some doing beating Barrington.
For him, yeah.Wasn't helped that after every ball he would walk half way to square leg , he has 2 if the 13th slowest test match 50s , whilst being known as being defensive , he was acrualy quite attacking in one day formats
Oh yes absolutelyFor him, yeah.
His strike rate in ODIs was 53.56, which is extremely pedestrian.

God that must have annoyed the shit out of the bowler, and fielders. Not to mention the spectators.
Actually, maybe we could do with a bit of that shithousery right now… For the next two days

What's the weirdest bowling run up ever witnessed ?
I'd go with Asif Masood (Pakistan mid 70s) - half a sideways shuffle at the start, John Price (Kent and England early 70s) - a weird arcing run up and Bob Ratcliffe (Lancashire 70s/80) - a moon hopping style.
To be fair, they're both being pretty honest and neutral, way better than aussie commentators. DK is one of my favourites on commentaryWhen did sky cricket become sky India cricket? 2 commentators from India with no balance fron England cricket, very strange!!
