Or the Edgbaston one in 2005 (Warne and Lee)This is beginning to remind me of the first test from the last Ashes series.
I remember Clive Lloyd asking them to tone it down a bit.Common at the two London grounds for visiting teams' fans to be the most vociferous. You should have heard the West Indians in their pomp. I didn't see them in the eighties, but I did see them at Lords and the Oval in the late sixties and seventies. Steel bands, and all kinds of racket going on. Very raucous. Some good backchat to the outlying fielders on the boundary too.
Great fun…
Yeah but we won that one. ;)Or the Edgbaston one in 2005 (Warne and Lee)
It was Warwick Rd. in my day.My kids still refer to the tram stop as Lancashire cricket ground
Exactly (although we nearly didn’t, and it was subsequently shown that the last wicket wasn’t out)Yeah but we won that one. ;)
With a wicket that should have been given not out, because the glove that the ball hit was not in contact with the bat.Yeah but we won that one. ;)
Yes we arewe’re not going to get 2 wickets…..are we?
Yes we are
Neither have I but it seems posh :)I can honestly say I’ve never seen anyone eating fondue at the cricket.
