They did in the first innings, so there's still hope.Looks like Lancs heading for a draw, unless we collapse in the fourth innings. I suppose Glocs could collapse but seems unlikely.

One confirmed today for early summer 2027, just not the opponent yet. Probably as a one off v Bang/Afg/Ire.Somewhat bitter sweet watching this Test Match knowing there won't be Test Cricket at OT until at least 2028
Took us 2 minutes at 10.30My mate still got in with a full size bottle of red and glass!
Why would Lancs be more likely to collapse than Gloucs?Looks like Lancs heading for a draw, unless we collapse in the fourth innings. I suppose Glocs could collapse but seems unlikely.
I was there today brilliant day , wish I could be there tomorrow, what a batting line up for the dayCompletely agree. I'm there tomorrow so I'll certainly be making the most of it and I hope England do too.
I think the wicket was turned around about 10-15 years ago because later in the season the sun would be setting directly behind the bowlers arm causing play to be stopped for Sun stopped play.Haven't been inside O.T. for a long time, only gone past it on the train, though I was a Lancashire member for nearly 20 years. What a mess the new (not so new, now) stadium is, especially the monstrosity towering over the Pavilion. But someone please remind me, when and why did the Lancs committee decide to move the wicket from side-on to the pavilion, and was it controversial at the time?
I know that the modern developments to the ground keep the money rolling in but to me it's not a pretty sight. I wonder if other once-attractive county grounds have suffered a similar fate, such as Worcester and Hove?
It was 2011 when the CC was won due to playing home games on a result wicket at Aigburth all season so allow the work to be done, plus one at Birkdale and Blackpool too.I think the wicket was turned around about 10-15 years ago because later in the season the sun would be setting directly behind the bowlers arm causing play to be stopped for Sun stopped play.
Pointing is a superb commentator. I learn a lot from listening to a hugely successful Australian captain who is now coaching - unlike the othe commentatorsHim and Mel jones sound like the same person, she’s low for a woman, he’s high for a man. The other similarities are they are both shite and both irritating
It was a good bit of bowling. It is allowed you know.Great Stand of 166 and as usually Crawley gets out with a nothing shot
A. Get to parity sometime after lunch, declare, then bowl India out for 200 by stumps tomorrow or early on sunday. Knock off the runs before close of play on sunday.Looking at the pitch now means day 5 will be hard to and on think we need 100 lead and it’s possible
Steve Macmanam?!Pointing is a superb commentator.
I didn’t say we were. Why would Lancs be more likely to collapse than Gloucs?
You inferred it. You said Lancs might collapse. You then said Gloucs might collapse too but that seems unlikelyI didn’t say we were.
Crikey, a very interesting interpretation of the word ‘unless’.You inferred it. You said Lancs might collapse. You then said Gloucs might collapse too but that seems unlikely
Enjoy, im very jealous.I'm off to OT today, looking like a nice day for it. Can't wait to get on the beer after a busy week at work.
I love reading the thread the following day :-)Archer should be bowling there at least 5 balls an over!
This scores worries me if Bumrah swings it (he will) like stokes we could well not make 200!!
Cheers mateEnjoy, im very jealous.
Should be a perfect day out. Enjoy mate. I had the choice of the test match and LIV golf (being held in my village again) but going to Anglesey with the missus’s family for the week. Talk about bad planning!!!! Would have been cricket today and LIV tomoz and Sunday :(I'm off to OT today, looking like a nice day for it. Can't wait to get on the beer after a busy week at work.
