Nonsense, the bowling has been excellent, and did you see Sciver Brunt’s innings. It takes something to demean a bowling spell like that, against two batters who were getting off the ball with ease
The vast majority of these games have been dominated by one batter, whilst most of the others scratch around.

India, England x2, Australia have all won by one huge innings in games.

The strike rate against spin vs pace is much lower. Playing pace bowlers is costing some teams.

As far as I can see, I praised her spell, but caveated the conditions. That’s hardly demeaning it.

Of course you demeaned it. You said the women could barely hit the ball off the square, which is absolute tosh

From 294-4 to 330 allout.

India choking hard down the stretch here..

I think Aussies can win this.. but just like cricket.. anything can happen..

The Aussies did a wonderful job of bowling slow balls and got the Indian batters out. Lets see if India learns their lesson or just pedal to the metal max pace bowling.

I think that while speed and strength play a part in cricket, skill is easily the most important factor and this means women can be very good cricketers.

Ofcourse they can be..

Here's 2 awesome bits of skill that men's game has absolutely nothing on!

Yep Aussies win with an over to spare!

Interesting stat.. 23% of aussie balls to Indian batters were off speed but Indian bowlers only bowled 3% off speed balls to Australia.

Shooting themselves in the foot right there!

India should have batted the full 50 overs and not thrown wickets away. Top order did a solid job, but the rest of the team didn't.

And most importantly.. used more speed change ups in bowling.. 3% of balls being slow speed is ridiculous at world cup level.

How many overs do England need to bowl for this to be a result? Not that we deserve rain to save us

Rain did save England tho..

That was just a strange game.. no one even made 20.

Well India up next and they're not exactly firing on all cylinders.. but are coming off back to back losses so will be highly motivated to turn it around.

Even if England lose the next one.. they'll still be joint top of the table.

BTW I stand corrected.. I said weird game no one got 20.. Seems Charley Dean was the lone exception batting till 33
