Starting to think we could well lose the Ashes 4 or 5 nil again. Our batting isn’t going to be good enough.

It was as bizarre as it was entirely expected to hear Brook talk about going harder at the bowlers in the first match. They only batted for a fraction of their overs, and then did the same today - you're not going to beat many if you you don't bother with 1/3 of the innings.

Seems that an awful lot will depend on Archer in Australia.

You’d get good odds on that. England don’t draw many games, so losing two to the weather seems unlikely.

That’s before assessing that they have decent bowlers and we don’t have enough that can stay fit.
