Same goes to you.
We'll see at the end of the series
Same goes to you.
Check his historic reporting on City.I've never thought anything bad about him myself. What's your beef with him?
We need to respect Starc in the second innings. He's only going to bowl six or seven overs maximum in his first spell. Don't give him wickets with stupid shots, target the other bowlers, and get a big lead.I still think there's a lot of runs in this wicket if you get in. It was really apparent after about 20 overs the ball softened up a lot, that's when Head & Green put on their 40 in no time at all. England got through because they had Stokes to bring on with something different - Australia don't have the depth of bowling attack in this game to replicate that.
1-0 to us going into added time at the end of the first halfthink we're ahead by a neck

India showed England exaclty what to do here last year.
First test of the series in Perth, all out for 150, Australia reply with 104, then India realised if you hang about the pitch isn't that bad and there's lots of runs to be had, put on 487/6 declared in the 3rd innings.
The Aussies won't be able to handle the England bowlers this series. If the pitches remain reasonably quick that batting line up is not great. England need to try and bat long and put their egos away for periods
Means the pitch improved as well
We shouldn’t have gone after him when batting, tire him out and take the shine off the ball to enable Root get some runsWe need to respect Starc in the second innings. Yep but no chances we keep everyone fit for five tests even stokes
And Root learns how to bat. He is having a mare.I never bite ? hahaha
learn my lesson long ago and now I just wait and see
The one thing I will say from the first day in the 1st test is England can still lose this test, so let's keep our feet on the ground and keep doing the hard work and let's hope our batsmen have learnt how to bat on this wicket
Well I hope you all learnt your lesson. Never judge a first innings score until you’ve seen the second innings. Like a match day thread in here ffs.
mate he got an absolute jaffer there. Not sure what else he could of doneAnd Root learns how to bat. He is having a mare.
Yes, just read online that an hour long highlights programme will be on iPlayer at 5pm each day.believe BBC has highlights https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/live/crl5jn5d84kt
In the ‘pre Baball’ era, we’d have been bowled out for double figures there and been totally out of the test on day one. Not sure how that’s preferable.Brilliant bowling by Starc, fucking bazball, load of shite
