England presently have one player averaging over 30 with the bat…. Says it all. Australia have 7 averaging over 30. All their major players are averaging over 40.
I think both sides are better than poor to be fair. It’s just going south like it usually does in Australia. They just have a knack of turning up in a home Ashes series even if their form isn’t great. We won the home series 3-0 in 2013 and it would’ve been 4-0 if it wasn’t for the rain in the last test (although 4-1 would’ve been a fair result if it wasn’t for the rain in the OT test), yet less than 6 months later we got walloped 5-0 in the return series. This is ridiculous. As I said before the series there's some ridiculous overhyping of this England team.our bowlers are inexperienced, our batting is average and we are poor in the field.
This Australian side is poor but it's still a lot better than England.
Starc, an Australian tail ender, demonstrating to the English how to bat.
I wonder if the lesson will be learnt?
After the start we had in the first innings when we were 10/2 we did well to get upto 330 all out, don’t think bazball had anything to do with it.Bazball very recently deceased
Starc didn’t have Starc bowling at him mindStarc, an Australian tail ender, demonstrating to the English how to bat.

Tell Harry brook that. If you’re gonna play with such disregard for your wicket and the match you better bloody perform well. Sadly England haven’t and that sits very squarely with bazball. After the start we had in the first innings when we were 10/2 we did well to get upto 330 all out, don’t think bazball had anything to do with it.
Biggest opening stand of the series for us this hahaha
