It can't help the amount of money we give away in Aid to corrupt countries some who somehow can afford to send space rockets upto the moon.
 
I moved to London last year and its another level down here, absolute shithole. Ive always been left leaning in my views but it tests you down here ha

What about the amount of money we give away to our corrupt government? That makes foreign aid look like a teacup in the Atlantic.

we are still in a period of austerity with a cost of living crisis on top. The gap between a small minority and everyone else has never been larger. Neither has the gap between the SE of Britain and the rest of the U.K. Our education system, social services and health services are at their lowest point ever. Everything is broken; water, power, transport, fishing, agriculture, food security. And all the while, those that some have voted in to be our government point at folk in small boats and tell us it’s all their fault all the while supported by a right wing media dripping poison in the nations collective ear every single day.

I think you could accurately say this country is well and truly fucked.

Totally agree but he’s right why give cash to a country with a space program? That 33-55 million would come in handy.
 
If inequality drives crime then yes. Whilst the number of people in what is classified as poverty has declined year on year since the 60s. The number of people on low incomes who are struggling has increased dramatically. Ever since the early 80s we've been going down the shitter. I dont think the figures are available for 2023 but there will undoubtedly be another step change with more people falling into the relative low income group, which will inevitably lead to more crime.

I now believe that society is so grim and brutal that I do not know why people are still having children.
It's not just here it's the whole planet.

London is far more dangerous than people realise. There are some very wealthy areas and high profile people which, in turn, brings the scum wanting some of that too.

Smackheads selling stole steak from Asda in a Birkenhead pub is nothing in comparison to the organised crime in London.
