crisis on sunday supplement

Do you really think anyone will care though, anyone other than some of our own fans I mean? Do you have an opinion that much on Wilkins/Chelsea that some Chelsea fans may now care what you think? People have their own opinions on us as it is, mostly jealousy-fuelled. What some journalists say on a second rate programme on a Sunday morning won't mean anything to anyone other than those who let it, mainly some of our fans. Its funny more than anything

Very valid. On the other hand, what I stated is also valid, the club will be viewed and judged by the outside world in how it is portrayed which at the moment is being distorted by a clearly agenda driven media.

However to me it does matter what neutrals or anybody else thinks for that matter about something which I care very passionately about, namely MCFC. Just as in the same way I would take offence with anybody slagging a close personal friend or a loved one of mine. Though I can see the logic that it only matters if we let it. The majority of the time though football fans of any club think with passion rather than reasoned logic so ultimately it will bother us, and quite rightly it should bother the club.

Hi Vicky,

This morning saw an absolutely disgraceful attack on us - here's the link to a video of it on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqjQLBuwOZk
Something should be done about these people. We've complained about it to Ofcom but surely the Club can take it up.

Best wishes,

Hello ****and****

Thanks for getting in touch. I watched the programme prior to leaving for Fulham today and share your disgust.
I have spoken to two of the journalists in question at Craven Cottage, making my views very clear and I am part way through a letter of complaint to the producers. I am consulting with our lawyers on some factual inaccuracies also.
Thanks again for the note.
Best wishes
Vicky

fantastic!!!

I really hope that this is a genuine response (no offence but people have occasionally fabricated these type of things). I'm a little sceptical due to the time this programme was aired and the time it takes to get to Fulham. That puts Vicky at the Cottage quite late, for an employee would that not be surprising?

Like I say though, I really hope that this is true!!!

Vicki is a fan also, only takes 2 hours on the train to the smog.

We should just make our own show with 4 City fans talking shit and telling porkies about these guys on SS.

leaflets should be handed around eastlands on match days with their photos on and their outrageous rants, also with a couple of copies sent to their work place and home, really take the piss out of them, give them a taste of their own medicine like they always say the pen is mightier than the sword, we are the most humorous supporters in the country so it would be so easy to wind these hacks like never before?

haha brilliant idea, they fuck with us we fuck with them! lets give em the adam teese treatment.

I have never seen or listened to such a pack of hypocritical, pathetic, useless, irratating, ugly, frightened, jealous, angry, obnoxious, revolting, dishonest, sad f****** w****** c**** in my entire life and I tell you what - Mancini should play that video just before every match we play for the rest of the season and I can tell you we will win the league, fa cup and europa league.

City till i die and i hope one day to get the opportunity to meet one of those guys in public because I do not joke I will make them severely regret the words they have spoken on that programme.

Totally agree with this^

It was sickening verbal attack by the 'kin parasite known as Rob Beasley (The Sun) and to a lesser extent by the greasy scruffy tw@t from The Mirror.

These low life scum, along with a few others (Mark Ogden in particular) have been at it since we were taken over.

Can you imagine how much they would take the 'P' if we were in united's position, i.e. 3/4 Billion in debt and having to ban free porridge & toast at Carrington for all "non essential staff". Bunch of sh1t houses the lot of them!

The leaflet campaign above sounds a great idea...let's bring these tw@ts some back!
