He would also completely change our style of play so silva would not be needed as much

well he wouldnt be needed at all if you had your way - didnt you say Silva and £60M for tranny girl a few posts ago?

I really cannot believe the number of people who are apparently willing to have such a sour-faced, self-centred, arrogant over-rated, little shit come play for City. Yes he scores goals by the shed-load and he is a very talented footballer, but as a human being he is just dreadful. All the weirdness of Michael Jackson, no pleasure in playing or scoring and he just wants to prove to himself somehow that he is as good as Messi. Sorry mate - but you ain't. Just watch them when they play and when they score. CR is one long series of complaints and shows no particular pleasure in his scoring. Messi smiles from ear to ear every time he touches the ball and beams with happiness when he scores or when one of his team-mates does.

What I want from City is what happened on Saturday. Rodwell, tackling back somehow hoofed the ball in the direction of his own goal and just missed. Hart was laughing his head off, taking the piss out of Rodwell and generally taking pleasure in his and City's game, even in adversity.

Please keep the sour-faced twat away from Eastlands.

Where is there even the inkling of any evidence that his sulk had anything to do with us?

FFS De Rossi is coming (even though he said no), Pique is coming (based on 1 poster on here hearing something), Cesc is coming (based on 1 poster assuming if it isnt Pique it must be Cesc) and now Tranny is coming cos he had a sulk about something that almost certainly has nowt to do with us - Ronaldo is NOT coming so stop being silly
This^^^^^
some on here need to wake up and stop fuckjng dreaming...tranny to us will never happen he is a rag FFS he wouldn't do it....he wants a new deal nothing more how do you maxamise your chances of getting what you want, throw our name around it gets clubs twitching, just on the 1% chance it may be true....expect tranny to sign a new 5 year deal in the next few months with a bigger wage...he isn't even Real's top earner no wonder he wants a new deal

This. Plus David Silva is miles better than the ugly rag dick!

Better what? Better hair?

If you mean as a player then you must be high as fuck!

Davids class but Ronaldo is world class!

the only club ronaldo can go is city.

and then the rags sell rooney to madrid.

and then sometime in the next 2 years the rags will have their own york away.

you, and i, and everybody just know fuck all about Ronaldo's personality. my mate and colleague was doing an interview with him last year and thought that he was a great guy informally. even this doesn't prove anything though. but comparing his to Messi's (who is a little ugly gnome and clearly some kind of a savant) is laughable. have you ever seen anything like you pictured from Joe and Jack from, say, Silva? i didn't. you could easily make the same case about him, if you were at it.

it is just not very clever to judge modern footballers on their public image, especially based on a small sample size. i'd imagine that being part of two of the cockiest football clubs in the world does certain things to your behaviour model, but there's nothing about it that can't be fixed by a scenery change. also, i like our Inside City clips very much, but keep taking eye on players who are not that much involved in the team's friendly activities, e. g. Clichy, Milner. does that make them less needed or less liked by fans? on the contrary, does Mario's obvious cockiness on and off pitch turn you on him?

sorry for my poor and impulsive English, i just wanted to say that people tend to aggravate some traits of players' character, especially ones they don't like (even myself in the Messi-related sentence) which does no justice either to them or the players themselves. you just sometimes don't see the big picture. i keep telling this to myself ever since i became a sports journo and got to know some sportspeople from the side a fan seldom sees.

Well said. Personally I can't believe the people who say they don't want one of the best players in the world at City because he's 'arrogant'.

I don't understand how City could refuse, this is too good to be true to sign a genuine world class superstar in his peak who would take us to the next level on and off the pitch. But if City fans think they are too good for him then i don't know what to say but no player wants to come if hes not wanted and to destroy his relationships at United who's fans still adore him.

If he was such the evil and spiteful man some claim to be he wouldn't be seen doing numerous things like this with kids -

Instead of looking outside the club we need to let our young lads have a go.

We are slowly losing our soul.

Sorry Ronaldo, there may be a possibility of you wanting to sign however we're going to play Alex Henshall.

We should just be patient until Messi is unhappy ;)
He cant stay there forever... surely? And he not an ex rag who loves himself and isnt the best player in the world. Messi would be wonderful

I know why Ronaldo is no happy the tax man wants a bigger piece of his pie and Madrid are not playing.....

+1
He is too self-absorbed. He is not very bright, either.
The team spirit will be lost with him in the team.

In my opinion Ronaldo is the best player on the planet (yes better than Messi and yes I have my tin hat ready).

If he became available city would be ridiculous to not consider signing him from both a playing, club image and commercial point of view. A golden goose if ever there was one and a undeniable match winner to.

Clearly we'd recoup his transfer fee and wages through his commercial pull.

I dont like him as a human being but I would take him over any other player in the world.

My question to the FFP gurus on here is would this be 'allowed' through FFP? How long would we get in order to make the figures balance?

-- Tue Sep 04, 2012 12:11 pm --

150 goals in 149 appearances for Madrid.....He's one of the best players to step over that white line.

Higuain and Benzema still get over 20 goals a season each as well so he doesn't affect others scoring

Silva-----Tevez----Ronaldo
---------Aguero-----------

If they were to sell, then it would surely be Neymar who replaces him, not Aguero?
Higuain is utter shite, he doesn't deserve to lace Aguero's boots, let alone Ronaldo. he only poaches anything Ronaldo lets him to. if CR goes, Real could suddenly find themselves 60-70 goals short of their usual mark, therefore they would ask moon and get it. 100 mil pounds is not out of question, there are 2-3 clubs in the world now that could afford.

but now, off with the reason! let's smash open the pig! imagine:

Ronaldo----Tevez----Aguero
-----------Falcao-----------

...can we dream? :)
Aguero on the left, we might aswell sell him if we were to play him there, silva and nasri are twice the player in that position.

Judging footballers personalities based on their actions on the pitch is very low. In a match where it's win at all costs players can look like cunts but away from the pitch are the nicest guys you can meet.
