The best players have rubbish games and still score, as Ronaldo did. Do you think Ronaldo plays crap every game? Of course not. But even when he doesn't play well he tends to score, as his former club found out.

Ronaldo at United would be a nightmare. He's the second best goal scorer on earth, how could anyone even entertain this being a good thing?

It would be a crushing blow to our chances of winning back the league any time soon and would put them right back into contention for Champions league success. I wouldn't say no to him at City, but I really can't see it so it would be best for us if he just stayed put in Madrid or went to PSG, flicking another two fingers up at FFP in the process.

I really hope that he doesn't sign for rags, would be like handing them the title now

I can't see him at City, and I really hope he does not go to scum or Chelsea either, but tbh I can see him at Chelsea, given JM is likely to be there, and they reputedly have a huge wad to blow - I think Chelsea's priorities ought to be centre forward and central defence, but if they also have enough to add Ronaldo, then with JM in charge they would take some stopping - rags third next season
