Wathed Real Madrid v Ath Madrid last night. Ronaldo was anonymous

Wasn't overly impressed with his performances against City or Utd this season either

Over rated. Hope Utd waste £50m on him

Far too good for a Moyes team tbf.

Moyes won't get the financial backing that Ferguson got. He'll get a lot of cash of course, but they won't sanction that kind of deal. I suspect he'll have to "earn" that right, but then again, I get the impression the Glazers are going to use this transition phase to slow the cash flow considerably.

The Atletico midfield was awesome yesterday (well, first half especially).
Agree that Ronaldo was flattering to deceive. Falcao looked very good in the first half, however the main reason Atletico struggled in the second was down to him being unable to hold up the ball - it literally bounced off him 10 times allowing Madrid to build up pressure for almost the whole half.
The only players on display that I would want City to sign would be Arda Turan or Modric.
Thought these were the best players on the pitch by a long way, and would probably cost less combined than Ronaldo (seems to have under performed when i've seen him past 12 months).

Goal per game this season, hardly underperformed stuff.

Last night he scored, hit the post, should have a great assist for Ozil chance and launched Di Maria with great ball for their post/clearance from the line chance.

Again, hardly average performance. What do people expect - to score or have a chance each 3 minutes.

Koke is worth a shout.

Nike are desperate to get him back in their gear. Wouldn't be surprised if General Motors were also willing to help fund a move to get him as an ambassador for their brand. He's famous in his own rot in fit in America and a bit better looking than Rooney..

I really can't see him going to United. Don't think they'll fork out that much on one player and with Slurguson gone I don't think he'll be that interested. Chelsea seems more likely. It's probably far easier for him to stay with Real Madrid though.

Ronaldo was dreadful

But he did score again. That was his 55th goal of the season. Why anyone would want him added to the rags with that firepower is beyond me

The best players have rubbish games and still score, as Ronaldo did. Do you think Ronaldo plays crap every game? Of course not. But even when he doesn't play well he tends to score, as his former club found out.

Ronaldo at United would be a nightmare. He's the second best goal scorer on earth, how could anyone even entertain this being a good thing?
