We could be saying goodbye to Pep in 2 years so what better way of welcoming in a new manager and era at the club than with the latest high profile striker at the time.

And this is exactly why Pep wanted Kane IMHO.. his personal agenda is possibly different than the club’s and the fan’s i.e. he wants to win big ears before he leaves but maybe the club and fans want a world class striker that we can build a team around.. Immensely frustrating as Pep had the perfect opportunity to lift the trophy last season and, not for the first time, fucked it up with his unnecessary tinkering
