Juve brinkmanship, they clearly need him off the wage bill so probably a little more latitude in this than levybitch
 
It would be utterly baffling for a club to turn down one of the G.O.A.T’s wanting to join them and costing a relatively low fee when you’ve built a super midfield and need a striker. On the other hand, contradicting myself completely, I can see why Pep wouldn’t want Ronaldo.

Didn't stop him doing the Cancelo - Danilo swap did it? Agent's end game is more meaningful than what Agnelli thinks of Man City. He'd actually favour us since we're helping the club rid of Ronaldo wages, and we are also opposed to a super league.
 
Mendy might also extend his contract if Ronaldo signs, there will be a player to get on the end of his crosses finally!
