Are the complications not:The Kane deal was complicated by Levy wanting £150m.
I haven't seen anything to the Ronaldo deal that looks remotely complicated. Juve want a fee of around 25m Euros. Ronaldo seemingly would be happy with 2 year deal. The most important thing here is that City need a goalscorer and Ronaldo needs a club who can win titles.
Nery, knew I should have looked his name up first..... :)I preferred Diego Costa.
Why we trying to penny pinch then over one of the greatest goal scorers of all time? We’ve got 5 days to get a striker and we were about to spend over 100m on Kane. If he’s up for signing we need to get this wrapped up as soon as.Are the complications not:
- City don’t want to pay a penny on transfer fee
- Ronaldo needs to roughly third, or at the very least halve, his wages
- Probable differing of valuations of any player involved in a potential swap deal
Sam Lee saying “complicated but possible” seems about right really?
.Might change my screen name to SR7 if this comes off.
;)
If juve want it done, if the player wants it done and if pep want it done and it doesn't get done, you do have to wonder wtf is going on on the background when we've a summer net-spend of £40-50m. 2 years is ideal for loads of reasons - Torres/delap development, scouting and preparation for a marquis signing in a year or two, pep's succession plan if he decides to go, GOALS.
Right guys, I'm stood outside the tattooist, with a photo of ronaldo, is this on or not? The artist is getting impatient and the inks drying in the needle!
