yea he is arrogant, every right to be he is hell bent on being the best. His personality on the pitch is all about being the absolute best. The man is extremely driven, he is maximizing his commercial opportunity to make him and his family as much money as possible and having come from poverty raised by a single parent and having an abusive alcoholic as a father and even then having the mind set to prove folks wrong and make something of yourself and build a legacy that generations of football fans will talk about is not something to be dismissed.

and if he can instill this mentality, this ruthless drive for perfection to our squad and young players man what do we have to lose.

Is there really anything of substance happening? So many random tweets by different "sources" but we all know that 99.9% of them are generally absolute bollocks?

I think he would be a great purchase for us for a year or two (max) and would certainly score goals.

But the interesting parts for me are that there is no explanation (as of yet) why is is leaving Juve and why Mendes is hawking him desperately around al over the place so suddenly. He has clearly approached other teams and yet no one seems to want him (now al ot of that maybe down to salary I guess).....

An if he has been offered to us and all Juve want is 25-28m for him then why are we potentially so hesitant? Considering we were looking at blowing near 150m of Kane and have blown 100m on Grealish....25-28m is a drop in the ocean compared to those figures.....Again I know his wages will be considerably higher than any of those but we were told the figures for Messi were workable so Im guessing they would be in the same ball park at least.

Mate, don't complain to me, it's Pep's concept since day one. 'You don't run, you sit behind me'. Ditto Bielsa, Enrique, Klopp. He is the anthesis of how we've been playing under Pep and I have no clue how he ended up connected to us. Just crazy.
