CR7 most logical move has to be City. Best players, Best Manager, Ambitious Team, Striker/Finisher needed. He perfectly fits the bill!

He will not be able to win the CL anywhere else beside City or PSG and in PSG Messi and Neymar are already there so it will become a "too many cooks spoil the dish" situation.

Man United trying to hijack the deal in the 11th hour out of desperation is pathetic. Also I don't believe CR7 wants to go there cause he knows City is where he will win trophies, not United!

They wouldn't even be making an attempt if City weren't in for him. Ditto with Sanchez too, and possibly Fred. They're so fucking bitter it's untrue!

He wants to come here to win the lot. I actually think his elite mentality will be good for the club, especially our youngsters and even the Kevin’s of this world if / when we go deep into the Champions League again.

At United he’s not going to win anything I’m the next two years, a cup at best. I think even level headed rags will understand that.

I think they do. He's got more money than he will ever need, and he'd love at least one more major league title, and the chance of one more CL. He also doesn't want a project, he wants a team he can walk into and start scoring from day one. Where else in world football gives him those options?

Why can’t they still be deciding? I think he goes there if they want him.

I think he’ll go there, if he doesn’t, they are more badly ran than I thought. Probably wouldn’t even cost as much for them due to shirt sales.

If he signs for us happy days, but I won’t be getting excited about this one until it’s done.

If, as reported, Pep doesn’t yet know how he fits into the squad but felt having Ronaldo is better than having nobody, so we had to do it… that is very much panic stations. It’s not a deal we have thought about for too long, or planned for over months. It’s popped up and we’ve changed the apparent Kane or nobody plan to get him.

But I’m totally fine with it, it’s Ronaldo! Can’t wait for the Inside City video!!
 
Stewart Downing is a switched on bloke. His words of wisdom on SSN ‘if City do sign Ronaldo (which he thinks is unlikely) then City become one of the favorites for the CL’. Thankfully Nedum is also on to put some actual intelligence to the conversation.
 
I hope mendes is following this thread he must be in fucking tears of laughter,, tracking the plane he was in.. Pmsl... Only bluemoon
