Criticism of Pep

At times I worry about Pep, he eats, sleeps and drinks football.
Last night we console ourselves that we are in the final but I get the the impression that he just beat's himself up mentally to find answers to why we lost.
I don't know who his sounding board is but he must be someone special or Pep would be in a nut house by now.

Just popped to the Spurs game thread, only three pages so far, but the ridiculing of Pep is now obvious and to me it's both ridiculous and sinister development.

i know, Right!? And he has referred to Villa (in the context of playing them at Wembley) as a historic team! oooft. hang him!

edit, mind you if we were playing Leicester, he'd have called them a top team, so we'd hang him for blowing smoke up others's asses.

He is in the nut house, being a City fan means or did that you were a sandwich short of a picnic

He always praises the opposition, whoever they are, just what he does.

I’m not sure it’s criticism of pep directly.

I think players have let him down

Board have let him down as we are desperate for a few new players in key areas.

The club have let fans down this season with not really listening to us re tickets & match day experience.

var has had a huge impact on fans everywhere in a negative way.

so a combination of matters have come to ahead this season made worse by key injuries & Liverpool walking away with our trophy.

I think most blues would love to see Garcia & Foden get more time especially in certain games this is down to pep & my only issue with him.

if we take our chances in every game we are top of the league but we miss sitters.

99.9% blues want pep to stay but the uncertainty around this does not help either & feels like we are stuck in a rut.

Honestly the people having a pop at pep!
Every other team in the world apart from the dippers would take pep in a heartbeat
When he goes well have a top squad but I have no doubt standards will drop off big time.
Also attracting players will be tough as he is the big draw
Kompany, Fernandinho, Otamendi, Sterling, De Bruyne, Tevez, Yaya, Silva, Dzeko, Nasri, Kolarov all City attracted before Pep and our stature as club as lot lower back then than its now. Don't worry, we will be more than fine in the recruitment department. Its mostly about money at the end of the day, see Sane for example, Bayern offering crazy wages turned his head.

City are not some small club, its genuinely one of the worlds biggest clubs (top 10). We will miss out on players, but we have missed under Pep too. Thats life.

What im trying to say that City are not dependent on Pep. Ill make bold call, if we continue to make right transfers like since 2015 consistently, we will roughly continue at the same level as long as the coach is competent.

We will keep playing possession style football for years to come, which gives stability and no need to rip the squad apart and all that. Thats big advantage when changes happen.
