Criticism of Pep

Well as he (deservedly) took the credit for seasons 2018-19 and 2019-20 he can (again deservedly) take the blame for season 2020-21.

A season in which we have been humbled by Norwich City, amoung others, and as the calendar moves into February we are 19 points behind the league leaders.
can't blame him for next season yet mate!

City are favourites in every cup competition including the CL right now at this very moment, last year we had a domestic clean sweep. The only competition out of our reach is the league and we've won that back to back, we can't win it every year it's not FIFA 2020.

And Pep is having an audit on his legacy ;)

So we should sack him ?

No. He deserves better than that.

He's under performed this year but he's earned the right to commit his future to us. I don't think that's too much to ask. If he can't do that we have to look beyond him unfortunately.

After next season we will , I'm sure he'll let the club know very early if he isn't extending.

Would you back City at 7/2 to win the champions league.? It's a terrible price ,mad in fact. Should be at least twice that.

When Klopp was appointed Liverpool manager it was my worst nightmare, but he seemed to be failing and that was great, I breathed a sigh of relief.

Unfortunately for the last 2 years the nightmare seems to be coming true; look at their league record over that time period.

He's been at Liverpool longer than Pep has been here, he's spent some good money too. His record hasn't been great he hasn't won anything domestically, close but no cigar springs to mind. Last year when they won the chumps league it was a bigger achievement than our clean sweep, the first time it was ever done. If we win all the cups including the chumps league they will still get more plaudits because when they win it it's the most important title.

If the yardstick for being the best manager in the world is not winning a domestic title in 4 years Tony bloody Pulis has been shortchanged.

Seems like a trend to me. Three years with 2 clubs swapping places in terms of league achievements.

I'm not sure what your point is?

If we are one of those clubs, great. is it not? Ferguson's united saw spells of two clubs swapping places over 3 or 4 years, dulifferent clubs every few years. They were the one club however that was always one of the two.

If that is us, for the next decade, great. that is the dominance i think he can bring.

I never gamble. Why play a game where the odds are stacked against you? (BTW I'm a software developer who writes code for gambling applications).

The so called experts about our club know fuck all. For example, Raheem has been poor for weeks now but it seems the experts are just realizing.
